Salt & Light

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.” Matthew 5:13

Is the Church okay with being thrown out and trampled?

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

What happens if a basket is placed on a lamp? Either the lamp is going to go out or the basket is going to burn up. Either way, the basket cannot stay on the lamp!

For decades, those who identify as Christians have compromised with abortion. 3,000 children are put to death daily in the United States alone! Many, within earshot of Church buildings and Christian households. Unsalty Christians have been thrown out and trampled by the world. Many Churches have had their lamps removed.

We have been blinded by the religion of humanism and secularism. The time for repentance is now! May the Spirit of God fill Christians in Missouri so that they would recognize abortion in every form and for every reason is a form of modern day child sacrifice.

That we would hear the call to rise up against such God-hating practices and bring the truth of the Gospel to our families, neighbors, co-workers, institutions, and civil government.
